Needle Felt a Flying Cardinal Ornament

Have a fun evening with felting artist, Cathy Disbrow, and learn to needle felt this cute flying Cardinal ornament that is perfect to hang on your tree, car mirror, or anywhere you want to watch this dapper fellow sway. Using a pipe cleaner, you will learn how to create a beak and wrap wool around it to create the core shape. Cathy will show you techniques on attaching curly wool locks for wings, securing glass eyes, and how to sew a nylon cord on for hanging. The bird is approx. 4” long. These birdies make great handmade gifts.

Wool, glass eyes, and 2 needles are included in the cost. Foam pads will be available for students to use and may be purchased after class.
