Plan a creative date night with your significant other or friends! Art Night Out at VAM is a fun and social way to end your work week. Spring is abuzz and it’s the perfect time to learn how to needle felt a cute bee planter decoration that is the perfect decor for your house plants. Spend a fun evening with fibre artist and instructor Cathy Disbrow who will teach you various needle felt techniques, such as wrapping wire and wool to create the main bee shape, adding yellow stripes, making wings, and the bee’s cute bulgy eyes.
Wool and 2 needles are included in the cost. Foam pads will be available for students to use and may be purchased after class.
After the workshop, stay and enjoy refreshments and open mic performance from a local All-Star musician from the Amphitheatre Unplugged Open Mic series presented by Mississauga Arts Council. Refreshments and musical performance from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
